Aw, shucks (kicks pebble on the ground) — please, its a privelege and a honor to have made a friend like the inimitable Uncle Swan. I remember a few years ago watching him in a Jeopardy! tournament and thinking to myself, “How the heck did I luck into making friends with an incredible guy like THAT?!” As Earth, Wind and Fire would say, you’re a shining star, and I am very thankful to have such a friend.

The Opening riff of “Life in the Fast Lane” was completely appropriated from the Doobie Brothers 1971 recording of Randy Newmans “The Beehive State”. Listen to that (did I mention it was from 1971?) and then be amazed at how great Joe Walsh is.
